This glorious day in January!
What is it doing, feeling like 75 degrees? I’ll take it! It’s an opportunity to try and get some of the snarls out of a mane, and hot-glued patches off the skin (YIKES!) I know! When horses come from neglect or feedlot situations, we never know the condition they arrive in. What is most important is letting them settle in and decompress. Are they pregnant? We think yes. But that’s not the priority right now. We are just letting them begin to believe they are safe.

Robyn has it the worst. Her mane is a tangled mess. We’ll start there!

Raven, our black beauty, is in better shape. I pull out the trusty olive oil and casually add it to Robyn’s mane. Tomorrow we will check back. This is the first blog post of a weekly check-in 🙂
Lot’s more information and wonderful pictures & videos to come.
